Citizen Insights: Clothing Longevity and Circular Business Models receptivity in the UK

The insights outlined in this report are based upon two large scale pieces of online consumer research commissioned by WRAP in the autumn of 2021.

  • Clothing Longevity: The objective of this work was to estimate clothing longevity for a wide range of clothing items and understand how these estimates are influenced by key factors like demographics, acquisition route and in-use behaviours.
  • Circular Business Models (CBMs): The objective for this work was to understand current citizen behaviours and receptivity to CBMs for clothing.
