Impulse consulting as an online seminar

The current COVID-19 pandemic makes face-to-face events more difficult. Therefore, in addition to our regular offer, there is currently also the possibility to arrange an impulse consultation via online seminar.

In this format, too, we offer tailor-made support in the form of impulse advice for decision-makers, procurers and users of clothing and shoes. According to the respective initial situation, we jointly identify which of the next steps to implement your eco-fair procurement project and Which actors You need them for that. Our workshop offer is aimed at municipalities of all sizes throughout Germany and can take place, for example, on the FEMNET Webex account or your own video conferencing tool. Conducted as an online seminar*

In advance:

  • Registration of participants
  • Collecting concrete questions

Procedure:

  • Welcome by the host and presentation of the current status on site (if desired)
  • Welcome by FEMNET incl. explanation of the technical process (chat function, word messages, GDPR) and query state of knowledge
  • Why procure fairly? Input on background and need for fair textile procurement
  • HOW to procure fairly? Possibilities and models of eco-fair textile procurement (legal basis, evidence, practical examples, group work on a sample tender)
  • Who helps? Obstacles and tools (compass sustainability, etc.)
  • What now? Set next steps and final discussion

  • Format: Online seminar via Webex (participants do not need their own account, but must register in advance), alternatively online seminar tool of your municipality; Hosts: FEMNET or your municipality (FEMNET requires host access)

FEMNET's successful pioneering work with municipalities

Since 2015, FEMNET has been supporting municipalities throughout Germany in implementing eco-fair procurement procedures and offering workshops, lectures and training courses in Fairtrade towns, municipalities and administrative (higher) schools.

The impulse consultations are part of the project "Good work fairbindet – fair public procurement broadening". The project is funded by Engagement Global with its service center Kommunen in der Eine Welt with financial support from the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development.
