FEMNET e.V. is a non-profit women's rights association committed to the economic, social and cultural rights of women. Transparency is very important to us. Year of foundation:
FEMNET was founded in 2007 in Berlin under the name ‘Mitgedacht e.V. - feminist perspectives on politics, business and society’. Since 2010, the association has been called ‘FEMNET e.V. - feminist perspectives on politics, business and society’, and since 2012 the association has been based in Bonn.

3. Information on tax relief

FEMNET e.V. is responsible for promoting equal rights for women and men according to the exemption notice or according to the annex to the corporate tax notice of the tax office Bonn-Outer Town, Bachstr. 36, 53115 Bonn, tax No 206/5860/0751 of October 2024 exempted from corporation tax for the last assessment period 2021 to 2023 pursuant to Paragraph 5(1)(9) of the Law on corporation tax and from business tax pursuant to Paragraph 3(6) of the Law on business tax.

The highest decision-making body is the General Assembly.
The General Assembly elects the Board.

6. Staff structure

The office currently employs 19 people on a part-time or full-time basis. In addition, there are honorary staff and interns – for example, multipliers on behalf of FEMNET e.V. conduct training courses with specially created modules at universities and schools or advise municipalities on fair public procurement. The seven board members perform their duties on a voluntary basis. Other members are also volunteers for FEMNET e.V. (lectures, event organization, information stands, etc.).

7./8. Origin and use of funds

FEMNET e.V. is mainly financed by project-related grants, donations and membership fees. FEMNET e.V. uses the funds earmarked for material costs of project work, for campaign and public relations work and for the payment of employees. Donations are used according to their purpose.

None. FEMNET e.V. is a separate, independent association.
