Networking & Cooperation

Strong networks for a fair textile industry

Together we are stronger than alone! That's why we rely on strong networks to fight for decent working conditions in the apparel industry. Our commitment extends at different levels - local, national and international - across different networks and multi-stakeholder initiatives to achieve our goals. Our network work focuses on pooling our activities and achieving an effective anchoring in politics, business and the public.

International cooperation

Especially in India and Bangladesh, we work closely and in the long term with our local partners to promote the implementation of human and labour rights. Depending on the topic, organizations in Indonesia, Cambodia or Myanmar are also added. In the past, we have also worked with partners in Tunisia and Ethiopia.

Active in Germany

We are a member of the Clean Clothes Campaign, which campaigns for better working conditions, especially living wages. As a civil society representative in the Sustainable Textiles Alliance, we are committed to better working conditions, due diligence, transparency in supply chains, gender equality and complaint mechanisms for those affected. We are also joining forces to effectively implement corporate responsibility. We are a member of the support group of the Initiative Supply Chain Act and are committed to binding rules for companies. In the Corporate Accountability Network (CorA), we work together with more than 50 human rights organisations, trade unions and other organisations to promote corporate responsibility that is oriented towards the common good.

Local actor

As a Bonn-based association, we are committed to promoting activities in the region. We are committed to fair trade, hold film festivals on development policy issues and take a critical stance on companies that do not produce in a socially acceptable manner.

In the future, we will continue to be active in our networks in order to promote decent working conditions. Because only together can we achieve positive changes in the textile industry.
