The Climate & Clothing City Tour – Finding the Causes, Effects and Solutions of the Climate Killer Clothing on the Spot

As part of the Klima & Klamotten project, FEMNET also offers city tours. Young people should find out why textiles are considered ‘climate killers’, what exactly this means and what we can do specifically and locally for a more ecological and fairer handling of clothing!

During a city tour, various shops are visited, discussions with founders and activists are held and the influence of the textile industry on us and our environment is discussed in places such as shopping arcades, town halls, meadows or green areas. In addition, we use many interactive methods - always with the aim of learning more about textile production, reflecting on (own) consumption and gaining inspiration.

Our city tours are aimed at young people from the age of 12. Both schools and extracurricular youth groups of five or more can take advantage of the offer. The city tours can be adapted to many cities in North Rhine-Westphalia and can now be booked.
