The Partnership for Sustainable Textiles (Textiles Partnership) © Bündnis für nachhaltige Textilien Focus Topics All Partnership members must actively participate in the four focus topics. These include: Living wages and purchasing practices Circular economy and climate Gender equality Grievance mechanisms and remedies In these four focus topics, the Textiles Partnership identifies central challenges of the textile and clothing industry and at the same time sees a great deal of leverage and a lot of potential for improvement. To address these challenges, there is a frame of reference for all four focus topics, which is based on international guidelines and recommendations and sets out the goals pursued by the Alliance. On the basis of uniform indicators and "individual commitments", each member and the alliance can measure progress in the focus topics on an aggregated basis. Progress is collected and published annually. The Textiles Partnership also carries out projects on all focus topics, also known as Partnership Initiatives, as many problems in supply chains can be tackled more effectively if several companies and other actors act together. We have submitted the proposal for the Partnership Initiative to expand the Dindigul Agreement and support this initiative through our cooperation. In addition, we are committed to ensuring that local rights holders are adequately involved in the initiative in the partnership initiative to expand the Fair Wear Foundation to alliance companies.
