This is intended to achieve greater social justice for all people. However, the BMZ falls short of the goals for this course: It sees the causes of gender inequality primarily in cultural norms. Important economic and political influencing factors are not identified in the guideline and are not sufficiently taken into account in the target projects. FEMNET examines these factors in an opinion and recommends supplementing the principles and objectives of the BMZ's new guideline.
