At the evening gala in the magnificent Villa Stella Rheni, the organizers brought a special concern to the guests in addition to local designer fashion: the educational work of FEMNET, which informs about the background of the glittering fashion facade. Enthusiasm for fashion does not exclude responsible consumption, the FEMNET colleagues were able to convey this convincingly. This confirms the pleasing donation amount that the evening achieved, as well as numerous discussions with interested guests. Press release of the "God-citizens" Fashion Show Deluxe - Charity event of ‘God's citizens’ collects over €12,000 for a good cause With a glamorous fashion event on November 14, the Godesbürgerinnen collected over 12,000 € for the good cause and thus support FEMENT e.V.! In the 7th edition of the ‘Fashion Show Deluxe’ benefit event, visitors experienced a lavish evening with a large fashion show of local designers and retailers and then celebrated in the elegant atmosphere of Villa Stella Rheni. The proceeds from the sold-out event this year went to FEMNET e.V., which is committed to improving the working conditions of women in the fashion industry. © FEMNETAfter the Corona-related break, the new edition of the Godesberg event series ‘Fashion Show Deluxe’ was a complete success. With 300 guests, great press interest and a lot of personal commitment from all – primarily female – makers, the benefit series continued very successfully last Thursday. In the dreamlike location of Villa Stella Rheni, guests could expect a lot of highlights in addition to the magnificent ambience, on and next to the catwalk: The auction of a work of art was just as much on the agenda as the raffle of a beauty case and lovingly packed goody bags for every guest of the event. Even a 360-degree camera invited visitors to a very special photo shoot! In addition, all participating designers and retailers from Bad Godesberg, Bonn and the Rhineland were available for personal discussions and the physical well-being was also well taken care of. © FEMNETAlready the whole day was worked in the villa for the evening highlight. Since 11 a.m., hairdressers, stylists, models and designers have been busy with the fittings. At all corners and ends the villa buzzed with bustling excitement. The first ready-made models posed for photos of fashion photographers, during which the 300 chairs for the guests were lined up on the ground floor, the presentations of the retailers were set up next door and the bar was replenished... At 3 p.m., the rehearsals for the models started. In addition to professional models, many women from Bad Godesberg and Bonn also ran over the catwalk, sometimes for the first time ever as a model. With much joy and commitment, the ladies of all ages presented the fashion and accessories and made this evening in, out of and for Bonn / Bad Godesberg a complete success. The highlight of the evening starts on time at 7pm, when the first model entered the catwalk and opened a true fashion spectacle: The fashion presentations ranged from yoga fashion, knitting & colourful day fashion, African inspired creations to handmade haute couture, of course perfectly rounded off by glasses, accessories and bags – all from the hands of local designers, well-known labels and shops from the region: beJunipa, CAROLINES, ebertz by MATT, Ellabee, Fatima Halwani Couture, Lederwaren Schugt, LiebeVOLL, Seraphim Antwerp and StrickKind. Of course, the topic of beauty and health was also covered, MHTreatments provided the necessary expert presentation here. © FEMNETAt the subsequent fashion party under the motto ‘Dress to Impress’, all participants were available to the guests at the Get Together. Visitors were able to take a look at the highlights from the fashion show and perhaps discover one or the other label or shop completely new for themselves. The organiser Caroline Florett had set out nothing less than ‘to bring the glamour back to Godesberg, to organise a glamorous evening in the fashion world and thus to support the work of FEMNET’. In the end, more than 12,000 € came together for the beneficiary organisation FEMNET e.V.. The latter fights for women's rights in the global apparel industry and, for example, informs students in NRW and beyond about sustainability in this industry. And last but not least, this event combined fashion, lifestyle and charity and thus also tries to support local designers and brick-and-mortar retailers in Bad Godesberg, Bonn and the Rhineland region.
