Away morality – profits against human rights: The calculated foul play of the sports industry

Higher, faster, further – almost everything is developing in this direction in the sports industry, especially in professional football: From player salaries to sponsorship issues to the numbers of sports and fan articles produced. The human rights of the tens of thousands of workers, who often toiled in Asia or Central America under unworthy working conditions and to starvation wages for the major sports brands, fall by the wayside. With this brochure, we look behind the scenes and show from different perspectives how the sports industry and sporting goods manufacturers exploit people.

We shed light on the social, political and economic role of sport using the example of football. We expose the foul of the mighty chain of three: Adidas, Nike and Puma. And we show how the major sports brands still earn even from the corona pandemic. The brochure is aimed at sports lovers, football fans and active people who value human rights more than profits.
