Disposable clothing - Representative Greenpeace survey on buying behaviour, wearing time and the disposal of fashion

Buy cheaply and buy a lot, wear short or never, throw away quickly – this is how Germans deal with fashion in the fast fashion era. This behavior is boosted by textile giants such as H&M or Zara, Aldi or Lidl, who bring new cheap collections to the shops in the weekly rhythm. Clothing is becoming more and more disposable, T-shirts hardly worn longer than plastic bags.
