‘Climate & Clothing’

‘Klima & Klamotten’ is a cross-media project by LizzyNet Redaktion and FEMNET e.V. for and with young people who enjoy fashion and textiles and feel the urge to make the world more sustainable and fair.

The project offers young people the opportunity to learn how much our clothing consumption harms the climate, to get to know alternatives to fast fashion and to try them out.

For example, you can participate in ‘Klima & Klamotten’:

  1. As a young person who likes to try new things, enjoys fashion and has a heart for climate protection, you can become part of the editorial team Klima & Klamotten. Together with other young people, you create (social media) campaigns or poster campaigns, write articles, do interviews or try out how fashion can be more sustainable!
  2. As a class that wants to learn more about sustainable fashion and the relationship between clothing and climate, you can register for a workshop. We'll come to your school. (All types of school from grade 7)
  3. With your class, your friends, your youth group, you can request a city tour around the topic of climate & clothes with us. We will then come to your city and find out together what alternative, sustainable consumption options already exist. (City tours can be arranged for groups of five or more people)
