Preventing Violence in the Workplace - #RatifyILO190

Although the new ILO Convention 190 against Violence and Harassment in the World of Work was already adopted in June 2019, ratification - and thus practical implementation - is still pending both at EU level and in producing countries such as India or Bangladesh. For the international day against violence against women, we are therefore launching - together with the Clean Clothes Campaign and our partner organisations BCWS and SAVE - the #RatifyILO190 campaign to demand the implementation of the agreement and to make the urgency clear. Women and girls in particular suffer from gender-based violence and are urgently dependent on the protection that the ILO Convention 190 could offer.
