Effective protection of labour rights, environmental protection and health in Bangladesh

Labour and environmental pollution often go hand in hand in the textile industry – this is where our project comes in. Environmental, health and work aspects are linked for the first time in order to capture the life reality of workers holistically. Their perspectives are the focus and drive change.

The project is part of a multi-stakeholder partnership to improve human rights due diligence in the textile industry. Together with our Bangladeshi partners ESDO, BILLS and BLF, the German NGOs HEJSupport, Inkota and Südwind, as well as Wage Indicator and Mondiaalfnv from the Netherlands, we at FEMNET are working to improve work and quality of life.
