Exhibition for self-printing: Gender-based violence in Bangladesh
The exhibition “Strong women. Fair work in Bangladesh.” for self-expression was published in cooperation with kfd-Trier to draw attention to the violence against workers in the textile industry. Arbitrariness, insults and sexual assaults are part of the everyday life of many women. Her fears and worries, her anger against the mostly male prerogatives and her dreams are exemplified by various personalities in the exhibition.
The exhibition illustrates the conditions under which much of our clothing is sewn. It is therefore particularly suitable for consumer and school education.
