The report “The Missing Thread: Workers absent from fashion companies’ climate plans’ (June 2025) examines how major fashion brands outline their climate strategies and highlights a critical gap: Workers in global supply chains are collectively excluded. Despite ambitious emission reduction targets, companies fail to ensure social dialogue, just transition planning, and concrete measures to support workers, such as protection from heat stress or opportunities for reskilling.
