Media worldwide reported on the 75-hour workweeks of seamstresses and the enormous pressure of the Chinese ultra-fast fashion giant on suppliers and in its logistics. Has anything changed in the meantime? Shein is now staging itself as more sustainable, but real improvements behind the glitter facade are hardly recognizable. But Shein could soon become dangerous new laws, because some politicians have declared war on big business with disposable fashion.
