Circular Fashion and Apple Leather: How fashion becomes more sustainable

The fashion industry is estimated to emit more CO2 than aviation and shipping combined. Designers like Melina Bucher and Michael Spitzbarth want to change that. Bucher has developed a handbag from a purely vegetable leather alternative. In an interview with host Birgit Frank, she explains what is also possible with apples and mycelium. Spitzbarth uses circular fashion with his label Bleed and explains what it is. Carina Bischof co-founded the association Fashion Revolution Germany and says: Best not to buy anything new.
