Each of them has professional qualifications and practical experience: in the textile industry, the clothing industry and in political education. The commitment of our speakers is the foundation of our impact. Book a speaker now Anna Burst Anna Burst is a textile engineer (M.Sc.) and studied in Reutlingen, Mönchengladbach and Amsterdam. She has already gained experience in the automotive, furniture and fashion industries. She sees herself as a mediator between the textile industry and consumers. Together with Amelie Liebst, she has been producing and moderating the monthly radio show ‘Kleiderei Radio’ since the beginning of 2020, where they talk to their guests about fashion, textiles and sustainable consumption. She is also involved in initiatives such as ‘Fashion Revolution’ or ‘Green Fashion Tours’. Carolin Becker-Leifhold Carolin Becker-Leifhold As a research assistant at the Institute of Economics at Ulm University, she has gained experience in research and teaching. There she received her doctorate on consumer behaviour and collaborative consumption of clothing. At Oklahoma State University and Kansas State University, she spent a research semester teaching and researching sustainable clothing consumption. Today she works as a consultant for environment & climate and impact assessment at econsense. Previously, she worked as a sustainability consultant for the hessnatur Foundation and advised companies on sustainable materials and sustainability strategies with a focus on the textile industry. Svenja Hoffritz Svenja Hoffritz is a designer and founder of the unisex label and creative studio A NEW PATH in Cologne. Rethinking systems, trying out new ways and shaping utopias are their incentive to encourage creativity beyond the consumption of clothing. After her studies in fashion design and a master's degree in art and design sciences, she worked as a designer as well as in production management and sustainable sourcing for various companies in the textile industry. In addition to a textile workshop at a school and working as a consultant for FEMNET, she also offers the conception and implementation of workshops for circular design for universities and companies. Elke Klemenz Elke Klemenz is an independent social entrepreneur (FARCAP Faire Mode gGmbH). She works as a consultant (department of textiles) and in project funding; We are currently in the process of establishing a fashion label in India. For industry, NGOs, universities or schools, it offers lectures, workshops, presentations, the organisation of trade fair appearances and much more. Topics include ecology, fair trade, sustainable corporate management, ethics and morality, sealing - all along the textile chain. Lenka Petzold Lenka Petzold She is a textile and integrated designer. Since 2007 she is self-employed and realizes not only customer orders but also her own projects as a designer (www.lenkapetzold.de). In addition to her focus on textile and graphic design, she has expanded her focus to ecologically motivated project work. She takes care of organizational and design issues in various eco-fair projects, develops lecture contents and lecture series and also gives workshops herself, especially with reference to textiles. Ariane Piper Ariane Piper is an advocate of fair fashion and an expert on the following topics: Knowledge transfer, campaigns and solutions for consumers and industry. During several study and working hours around the globe, she experienced the importance of the interdisciplinarity of these fields of work - communication about the effects of fashion is crucial for systematic change. Ariane holds an M.A. in Intercultural Communication Studies from the European University Viadrina in Frankfurt (Oder). She has worked as a consultant for the fashion industry and has decided to implement only heart projects: As a supporter of the first hour, she became state coordinator for Fashion Revolution Germany in 2016, works as coordinator at Green Fashion Tours and as a freelance lecturer for e.g. FEMNET e.V.. Ingeborg Pujiula Ingeborg Pujiula was born in Barcelona in 1964 and studied in Göttingen and Madrid. She graduated as an M.A. in Romance Studies and additionally as an adult educator at the PH Karlsruhe. For many years she was responsible for projects and purchasing at the fair trade company El Puente GmbH, during which time she also supervised various Asian project trips. Since 2002 she has been a speaker for education and public relations at APDW e.V./Weltladen Karlsruhe. She has extensive experience in the field of fair textiles. Dagmar Rehse Dagmar Rehse is a developmental political scientist, social pedagogue and trained weaver. As a textile designer ‘hand woven in berlin’, she produces hand woven products and gives weaving courses. As a multiplier at Femnet e.V., she gives workshops at universities and schools and gives lectures on all topics along the global textile value chain. As a speaker for global learning, she gives seminars in the field of development policy and in the critical examination of textiles/clothing. It is important to her to make a reference to her own clothing and to convey an appreciation for the manufacturing process and to actively carry it out. She often enriches her workshops with practical offers. Annika Salingré Annika Salingré is a freelancer in political education with a focus on working conditions along value chains and the global apparel industry (www.querdenker.in). She designs and conducts workshops and seminars, gives lectures and participates in discussions as an expert. For FEMNET, she also develops educational modules and factsheets on the clothing industry and has written a study on the living and working conditions of the seamstresses in Ethiopia, Bangladesh and Myanmar. As a development policy project manager at the DGB Bildungswerk, she coordinated an emergency aid project for the victims of the Rana Plaza disaster, the establishment of a trade union centre in Bangladesh and other trade union projects in Asia. She lives and works in Cologne. Nicole Süß Nicole Sweet is a designer and professor of fashion design. She teaches and researches on the topics of sustainable design, fashion and consumption and deals with aspects of cultural education and material culture. This allows them to feed into various collaborations and projects. As a designer, she has been running her own label for many years and worked in the shoe industry with a focus on product design and material development. Its centre of life is Cologne. Tina Waldt Tina Waldt is an educational scientist and social pedagogue. She was a consultant for youth organisations for the German Development Service (DED) in Zambia from 2005 to 2007. Since then, she has been regularly in the region of southern Africa. In Germany, she has been involved in areas of global learning since her return, especially in the education meets development programme and in world shop work. Nikola Walz Nikola Walz studied sustainable economics (M.Sc.) at the University of Kassel and wrote her thesis on sustainability in the emerging Ethiopian textile industry (with field research on site). During a study seminar on development education (focus on textile industry), she took part in a study trip to India, which also included a visit to a textile factory. In addition, she has dealt extensively with textile production in a scientific context. She works as a consultant for the children's charity World Vision e.V. and has been a consultant for FEMNET since May 2018. Christiane Westenhöfer Christiane Westenhöfer She is a political scientist with a focus on human rights. After various stays abroad, she works in the field of sustainability and global learning as a freelance education consultant. Her main topics are ethical consumption (food, clothing and cosmetics) and fair trade. Birgit Wilde Birgit Wilde After studying fashion design, she worked for several years for various German fashion companies in design and purchasing. She also travelled to China and India to place collections and negotiate prices. She further developed her skills by training as a business economist. Since 2008 she has been teaching at fashion schools mainly in the areas of collection development and presentation. Anna Zeitler Anna Zeitler He studied fashion design. Since 2016 she has been working as an independent designer and lecturer. As a lecturer, she gives workshops at schools and universities on the topics of sustainability, consumer behaviour, textile production and upcycling. Encourage awareness of more sustainable consumption. As a designer, she designs upcycling products.
